Their grazing patterns play a vital role in maintaining ecosystem balance, with their movements helping to disperse seeds and maintain grassland diversity. Their presence often indicates the health of their habitat, as they require a delicate balance of open areas and protective cover.
All 2025 1 oz Australian Platinum Kangaroo Coins offered here come in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Individual coins are housed in capsules, while multiples of 20 are protected in tubes. Multiples of 100 come in boxes that hold a total of 5 tubes. Perth Mint introduced the Platinum Kangaroo in 2018 and it shares the same historic design of the kangaroo as the Silver Kangaroo bullion coin.
On the obverse of 2025 Australian Platinum Kangaroos is the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III. Designed in 2024 by Dan Thorne, this left-profile relief depicts Charles III without a crown on his head.
